Description
MegaRare Philles promotional 45 EP (X-EP) "CHRISTMAS EP" from Philles LP 4005 "A Christmas Gift for You", released in 1963. Side 1 includes "Sleigh Ride" by the Ronettes and "The Bells of St. Mary" by Bob B. Soxx & the Blue Jeans, side 2 includes "White Christmas" by Darlene Love and "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" by the Crystals. Side one runoff with hand etched "XMAS-EP-A", side 2 with "XMAS-EP-B", and both runoffs with what appears to be a hand etched "K" within a "C". The record appears mint unplayed, but under strong light the vinyl has a few weak hairlines on side 1, and a few weak paper rubs on side 2; both labels are shiny mint. This is one of the "Holy Grails" of 45's on the Philles label. You are bidding on the record only, no promotional sleeve. Satisfaction guaranteed.
