1963 1st issue THE BEATLES album "PLEASE PLEASE ME". Tracks are: I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Anna (Go To Him), Chains, Boys, Ask Me Why, Please Please Me, Love Me Do, P.S. I Love You, Baby It's You, Do You Want To Know A Secret, A Taste Of Honey, There's A Place, Twist And Shout.

Matrix numbers are: XEX 421 1N and XEX 422 1N
Mothers and stampers are: GR on the right side of the label on side 1 and GD on the right side of the label on side 2.
The record is lovely. This is a VERY GOOD very good. The vinyl shines really beautifully and has only a small amount of exceedingly light wispy hairline marks. These are visible under strong light. There is just one tiny tiny skip. This is at the beginning of the first track on side one and there are just a couple of words missed when the stylus comes to that point. There is nothing visible and I do not know how really to describe it. it is the very slightest skip and only once. EVERSO slight. You can't even feel a blemish in the vinyl. I have played this album all the way through and there are no other skips, pops or clicks. The sound quality is fabulous with that rich deep clear sound. There is some minimal background noise but the quality of the music is superb. In many parts including in between tracks, there is literally no background noise.
The labels are wonderful. Side 1 and side 2 labels show no spindle marks at all. Only side 2 shows minimal wear to the very edge of the spindle hole. Nothing bad at all. Both labels have no marks or writing and both have none of the gold print rubbed away at all.
The cover is the correct 1st issued rarer sleeve which has the name of Angus McBean further over to the right corner than the later issues. The E.J. Day front laminated cover with flip over flaps is in fine condition. As you can see I have taken pictures of some corners. On the bottom right corner there is a tiny dent and scuff. A tiny part of the back flap on the very edge of the back top right corner has torn. This is everso small On the bottom edge there is tiny scuff marks. The spine has no crushing. The back has no nasty handling marks. One very light crease to the top left corner.
No laminate lifting or peeling
The back cover has no laminate missing from the flaps. No writing.
VERY RARE and this is in really nice condition. This has in no way been played to death and has obviously been played and treated with care.
