This auction offers a very unusual WALT DISNEY collectible item -- from 1964,  is this vinyl LP record from Southern California's JOHN BURROUGHS HIGH SCHOOL Fine Arts Dept., the musical comedy "BYE BYE BIRDIE". 

This record features WAYNE ALLWINE,  the former voice of MICKEY MOUSE,  in his High School play!

This High School student's stage play production,  is an operetta dedicated to Mr. VERNON H. WEYBRIGHT (pictured on back of lp) in deep appreciation for his help & guidance during his 15 years as principal of this High School.   Today, this same school is used as the location for the TV show, "GLEE" and formerly for "THE WONDER YEARS". 

Included in the cast, (and on this record)  is WAYNE ALLWINE who portrayed MR. MacAFEE...... For 32 years, WAYNE was the voice of MICKEY MOUSE for Walt Disney Productions, an actor; sound effects editor; and foley artist for DISNEY.

He was married to another Disney voice-over, RUSSI TAYLOR, who characterized MINNIE MOUSE. 

 This super RARE, vintage lp record is in surprisingly good condition for being almost 49 years old!  It is CLEAN and glossy, with NO real damage. It doesn't appear to have been played more than once or twice.

 The dark red paper label has only a bit of turntable spindle squiggles, the original record cover is also in pretty nice shape. 

White background color has yellowed a little bit, but the splashy, orange-red, brown, and mustard yellow abstract drawing on the cover cover still looks great! 

On the back of the cover, all of the 9 black-and-white stage photos are CLEAR and un-faded. Cover has a split at the top corner, and at the bottom, only about an inch in.

On the back, there is only a hint of a record ring
