All my current Beatles listings are from one outstanding collection, bought at time of issue by one owner (or as presents to him), part of a large collection and played on decent hi-fi from the beginning. 1964 Uk Early 1st type issue low plays example of The Beatles: Beatles For Sale mono PMC 1240 in overall Excellent condition. Heavy vinyl LP with Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd gatefold inside flipback sleeve. Laminated front, spine and back with outline mono on the front. There is a light bend to the front gatefold from above Paul's head. It should be visible in these high definition pictures, which enlarge. No Pen, dirt, warps, feelable marks, not off centre, clean labels, Spine not squashed or split as these usually are. This never went to parties, or got played on a Dansette. There is no excessive groove wear. This plays lovely on a modern mono cart in a high end system.
Complete with the original tissue lined Emitex inner.
1st Pressing 1964 black label with yellow logo and silver print 14 track Album
Catalogue Number PMC 1240 Matrix No: side A- XEX 503 3N Matrix No: Side B- XEX 504 4N. Very first ones off the presses are 3N3N, so this so called crossover 3&4 is probably just weeks after the initial press run.
