1965 The Beatles Help! 1st UK Outline Stereo PCS 3071 with best 1/1 Matrices with the printer date confirmed by the 6509 to the bottom flip that this is a first year issue, probably first batch pressing by EMI for their Parlophone label. Yellow and black earliest labels. Best condition outline PCS 3071 I have ever seen in 20 years. Paid a lot for this and would be disappointed if it did not get to book price.
This has a fully near mint side one and a fine groove direction stylus mark and a 5mm mark (neither of which are feelable) to side 2 plays excellent to Near mint, with big clear uninterrupted sound, with hardly any evidence of the 2 marks mentioned anywhere in the sound (i.e very background sometimes on You Like Me too much only, and that is being very critical using a high end stereo, you probably have near mint 60's lps that make more noise I bet). If you would like a first anywhere pressing of this in excellent condition, to hear that unmatched sound quality of a first Uk press, this is it.
If you own a later (even Japanese or audiophile) pressing of this, you will hear the difference. This 1st off the presses when the master tapes were brand new will be superior in every way. A great example of a great lp.
