Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us.  Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.

  4. It's not overstating the case to contend that the Byrds' very FIRST 1965 album is the forerunner from which all West Coast 60's folk-rock spouts.

  5. "MR TAMBOURINE MAN"  hit No. 1 two months before the album arrived, in the process heralding a new sound that braided involved lyrics with chiming guitars, and vaguely trippy harmonies. The album (and, indeed, it is an album, rather than a haphazard collection of songs, as was the standard of the day) followed through on the promise of the title track single. Four of the dozen songs on the original pressing were Dylan compositions, but the originals from Gene Clark and Roger McGuinn nearly matched their worships, particularly "I Feel a Whole Lot Better," perhaps the quintessential Byrds tune of the time, time, time in '65.
