Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.

DO YOU LIKE WILD? THE APOSTLES will give you WILD !
PRIMITIVE ROWDY GREASY BLUES ROCK GARAGE GEM !!!
Heads Up CRUDE garage-rock enthusiasts : "Crusade" is the mighty THE APOSTLES first of TWO existing albums by the popular group, delivering key slices of primitive raw garage blues-rock&roll with no holds barred; in other-words, the production is as crude and raw as heard anywhere. Very similar to the 1970 Krautrock band XHOL CARAVAN who issued the highly collectible Lp's "ELECTRIP" , "Motherfuckers GMBH & Company" and "XHOL" (OHR Label) all grit + underground blues-rock grime with brutal shout vocalist
...tracks performed would fit on any of the famous "Back From The Grave" garage series -- stomping & crude playing and attitude edgr ~ check out "I DON'T MIND" and "THINK" featuring the albums fierce growling rawness
These APOSTLES issued an "Hour Of Prayer" the 1966 LP follow up.
The Christian insinuation may make one think of a church content, which there is absolutely none....rather in totality these boys were hellraisers, selling their brew of greasy blues-rock in a lively never a dull party moment !
Given the number of mid-1960s garage/frat bands that came out of Andover, Massachusetts' Phillips-Andover Academy, THE APOSTLES were not as talented as their classmates/competitors The Ha'Pennys, The Rising Storm, The Foul Dogs, but what they lacked in finesse, they made up with an enthusiastic approach, reflected by the bands recklessly raw & pounding style. At the same time they blow away others preforming nearby, namely The Satans, and The Torques, who also released mega-rare Lp's.

- The vinyl: Rated: "EX" (excellent)
plays with awesome audio - nowhere near the usual well beaten copy most likely not around, this copy an exception as was cared for! - Also: both PRIVATE labels are clean
