1965 THE BEATLES – HELP! Original Motion Picture Soundtrack - MONO - US 1st Press - Capitol Records - MAS-2386.    Original 1965 Scranton US 1st Press Mono MAS 2386. Excellent (EX) vinyl, Very good (VG) jacket.    This is a true US first press because the labels have no Ken Thorne credits on Side 1, track 6 or Side 2, tracks 4 & 6 as found on later 1965 pressings. Later 1965 labels corrected the 'Ken Thorne' composer credits omission.    Note: the later stereo jacket featured a "New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo" banner on the jacket front/top.   Shipped with plastic outer sleeve protector.

  • Vinyl EX / Jacket VG. Vinyl:   No skips, super clean and glossy, light crackling only, a very pleasant listen throughout both sides.   
  • Jacket:   Jacket is bright and clean with near mint graphics, no writing, no stains, no odors, and no foxing.   Jacket shows only minor shelf wear, cover slick is near perfect front and back -- grade would be near mint if not for several seam splits (3 1/2 inch split at top / 3 inch split bottom of jacket mouth / 1/2 inch on spine).  
  • Labels are mint with no writing.

Matrices have Capitol's Scranton pressing plant 'IAM' Triangle stampers and crossed-out ' T ' found on 1st pressings.
