Original 1966 VINYL first pressing of the legendary first LOVE Lp when the famed groups were one of the leading Sunset Strip LA Calif hip bands right next to The Byrds & The seeds.
On their 1966 first album, Love sounded amazingly like the Byrds, right down to the drumming (not to mention vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, and tambourine!). It's as if they had been dropping acid and listening to a copy of Fifth Dimension over and over again for a month solid. And they probably had been; tracks like "No Matter What You Do" are produced, arranged, and performed to sound exactly like "Eight Miles High," and there's even a Byrds-esque cover of "Hey Joe" (even better than the Byrds' version, ) and a rewrite of "The Bells of Rhymney" ("Gazing"). Love at this point already had something that the Byrds had long since lost with the departure of Gene Clark - a visionary songwriter, here in the person of Arthur Lee. The record's big hit ("My Little Red Book") is a strong tune, but with no bad tracks, is only among the best of the LP that includes the torrid garage punk slasher "My Flash On You" which is on the verge of "7 & 7 Is" for intensity... Arthur Lee has full or partial songwriting credit on 11 other tracks, all of them great (fellow guitarist Bryan MacLean sings on his clever infectiously groovable "Softly To Me").

CONDITION: The cover is solid with no seam splits, but has moderate cover wear, so visually VG that still serves as an o.k. cover
The vinyl is all glossy with some little scuffs/marks only visually VG(+) BUT plays exceptionally strong with only a little bit of surface in qiet places, otherwise plays VG++ and even better!
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
