Description
This is for the self-titled album by The Remains, released in 1966, and this is the original stereo pressing on Epic. Catalog #BN 26214. Essential and seminal garage rock band, and this was their only full album.
Vinyl on this shows some minor scuffing and light scratching (can't feel them), and plays through with minor surface noise, and sounds nice (I did play test it). Generic white inner sleeve which may be original (with some tearing at the circular opening on one side and with the lower quadrants creased). Jacket shows minor wear to the front with just a hint of ringwear in the lower left and minor small spotting. Minor stress marks at bottom edge. Corners are bumped. Lower left corner has creasing (see close-up photo), from what looks like a harsher bump. Top edge has a split in the jacket that measures 1 1/2" (see picture) and is above the Epic logo on the front of the jacket. Back of jacket has a little discoloration (dirt/rubbing), and a few spots where the top layer of litho is off (see pictures), including one spot where the catalog number is. Bottom edge of white litho (where it overhangs) has a piece missing (see picture), and another two small tears.
