WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE ORIGINAL PYE RECORDS DEMO ACETATE PRESSING - MOD / FREAKBEAT / JIMMY PAGE - PRE - LED ZEPPELIN / RAY DAVIES , THE KINKS RELATED / SHEL TALMY PRODUCED - ACETATE by THE LANCASTRIANS from 1966, ORIGINAL UK DEMO ACETATE PRESSING IN GREAT CONDITION !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - MOD / FREAKBEAT - DEMO ACETATE single that I SUSPECT IS THE ONLY ONE IN EXISTENCE !!! This is the ORIGINAL DEMO ACETATE for THE LANCSTRIANS single from 1966 on PYE RECORDS !!! This was produced by the one and only SHEL TALMY who also produced THE WHO and THE KINKS to name but a few and you can just imagine him and the band listening to this ACETATE just before giving the go ahead for the vinyl pressing !!! This sounds like a slightly different MIX / EQ, but could be for the fact it is pressed on an ACETATE and not vinyl !!! A young JIMMY PAGE played guitars on this single way before he formed LED ZEPPELIN and the A side is a RAY DAVIES / THE KINKS written track !!! This is a great MOD / FREAKBEAT single that was comped on the: DOIN’ THE MOD 4: READY STEADY, STOP ! and JIMMY PAGE - HIP YOUNG GUITAR SLINGER and CANDY AND THE CURRANT BUN and KINKY: THE SONGS OF RAY DAVIES compilations !!! This ACETATE came from the ORBIT MUSIC PUBLISHING library which I have bought !!!
You can hear clips from this ACETATE on my Youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUzAo7tQvzY

DON’T LET THIS PIECE OF UK MOD / FREAKBEAT / LED ZEPPELIN - HISTORY GET AWAY as it is probably the ONLY TIME you will be able to buy this UNIQUE PYE ACETATE !!! I WILL HAVE MANY OTHER ACETATES IN FUTURE WEEKS ALL FROM THE UK’S BIGGEST PUBLISHING COMPANY RECORD LIBRARY !!!

ALL THE ACETATES I AM SELLING CAME FROM THE ONE OF THE UK’S BIGGEST MUSIC PUBLISHING COMPANIES LIBRARY AND ARE ALL 100% GUARANTEED ORIGINALS !!!

The tracks are: THE WORLD KEEPS GOING ROUND / NOT THE SAME ANYMORE.
The ACETATE was pressed by PYE RECORDS at the I.B.C. SOUND RECORDING STUDIOS.
The condition of the ACETATE is in VG++/ VG+++ condition (Better then most ACETATES of this age, light scuffs only, plays great with only mild crackle as ACETATES tend to have) !!!
