NOTE: eBay has implemented its new FEEDBACK policy to which ANY customer for ANY reason or ANY excuse can give sellers (i.e. "us") negative feedback. Please understand, we have served thousands of "satisfied" customers and processed thousands of orders - far more than our feedback records indicate - It is our intention to give EACH and EVERY buyer our best possible service and we are known to ALWAYS deliver your purchased item. ALL items paid for are processsed 'outbound'  to each and EVERY customer, satisfaction guaranteed.  Keep in mind we have serviced THOUSANDS of satisfied customers and our aim is to continue to do so.

We make every effort to mail all orders out Friday of each week.  Keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two at most.   We also strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERSWe often get requests to hold orders to save on shipping.  We are happy to do thatPlease pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and IF YOU REQUEST we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.   To receive continual shipping discounts, we will hold your orders as long as you want, but it is necessary to pay each invoice you receive to stay current.   Most importantly, we appreciate your business.

I FEEL LIKE I'M FIXEN TO DIE

                                      ...USA - Vanguard - VSD 792266 - STEREO

COOL ORIGINAL STEREO 1967 first printing vinyl, a beautiful classic San Francisco Psychedelic album, that still reels in reverberations and the SUMMER OF HIPPIE LOVE sensations...still in great ((M-)) condition after 41 years!

Contains thee legendary rare and sought FISH GAME POSTER, serves as a poster and an actual 'heads' game with a trip down Haight Ashbury & Berkeley ...

Lost beneath the interest that surrounded, and continues to surround, their first album ("Electric Music for the Mind & Body"), Country Joe & the Fish's second album merits serious consideration as the best "psychedelic" record ever made.the interest that surrounded,

If psychedelic means highly innovative, ethereal music in which technical skill is secondary to the creation of pure "mood & feel" then virtually all of the tracks on this album qualify as winners. Skip the over-played and incongruous jug-band opener, "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die", and go straight to "Magoo" (one of the most bizarrely structured, yet effective pieces of music produced by this or any other group) and "Colors for Susan" (a highly distinctive series of "West Coast" shimmering reverb guitar chords played at a snails pace that succeeds in creating feelings of tension and relaxion at the same time) and drop into a world of weird, reflective and totally unique music that drifts, often precariously, between simplicity and brilliant ingenuity. "Pat's Song" & "Janis" could have been naively wistful hippie "love songs" if it weren't for their marvellously unusual arrangements; "Thursday" combines deliberately off-key vocals with a quite beautiful organ and guitar break before flowing into "Eastern Jam's" first, wonderfully ecstatic guitar solo, and "Who Am I" & "Rock Coast Blues" should be standard folk & blues respectively, but they're not. What they all are, and add up to, is a near perfect example of music from a different time and place in which groups dared to push themselves to the limits of their ingenuity.

The exceedingly rare 1967 STEREO Country Joe & Fish "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die" album remains as enjoyable and compelling today as it was over 40 years ago... a definitive, totally forgotten ACID RAGA gem!
