WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE and ORIGINAL UK 1967 EMIDISC SINGLE SIDED NORTHERN SOUL DEMO ACETATE PRESSING by LEE DORSEY, ORIGINAL UK ACETATE PRESSING IN GOOD CONDITION !!!
WOW, this is a REAL FIND, a SINGLE SIDED UK EMIDISC DEMO ACETATE from LEE DORSEY from 1967 that I suspect is the only one in existence !!!
This track was released in the UK on STATESIDE RECORDS in 1967, I am not sure if this is the same version as the released single, or a slightly different version, it sounds like a slightly different mix with the vocals more upfront in the mix, but this could purely be because it is pressed on an ACETATE !!! This was a UK ARDMORE & BEECHWOOD MUSIC PUBLISHING ACETATE which I have bought the library from, and they obviously had the publishing rights for this track in the UK !!!
You can hear and see a clip from this ACETATE on my Youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9iaWbkJYO0
THIS WILL PROBABLY BE YOUR ONE AND ONLY CHANCE to get this UK PRESSED NORTHERN SOUL DEMO ACETATE !!!
ALL THE ACETATES I AM SELLING CAME FROM THE SAME RECORD COMPANY AND ARE ALL 100% GUARANTEED ORIGINALS !!!
The tracks are: RAIN RAIN GO AWAY / side B is blank.
The ACETATE was pressed by ARDMORE & BEECHWOOD MUSIC through the EMIDISC FACILITIES !!! The condition of the ACETATE is in VG+/VG++ condition (better then most ACETATES of this age, minot light scuffs and marks only, plays with mild crackle and hiss as ACETATES tend to have) !!!
