Description
On offer here in EX condition is a first pressing of THE BEATLES 1967 classic LP SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, released on PARLOPHONE RECORDS (Yellow/Black labels) No. PMC 7027 ‘Mono’ with matrix Nos. XEX 637-1 & XEX 638 -1.
Label text displays The Gramophone Co Ltd around the label rim and has “Sold In UK” label text.
Condition wise, other than a couple of very light non sounding surface marks vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition, as are the record labels, no wear just a few spindle marks.
Fully laminated gatefold cover, with upper flipovers showing on inside is also in EXCELLENT condition, just lightest of scuffs to spine edge corners.
Spine is totally clear and readable.
It comes with original Red/white inner sleeve which is fully intact other than a tiny (3mm) tear to opening edge and just the start of that age browning effect.
Cardboard cut out is in mint condition.
This is a real collectors item, and as with all my items no reserve and low starting bid.
