Description
Here we have the Beatles 'White Album'. This album was brought before i was born but as an avid fan i have researched this album alot and i am giving my best description based on my findings. Firstly the cover has The Beatles printed (raised) and the number 0038890 on the front. Based on the other white albums i have viewed this is a low number in comparison. It is printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. It is top opening and contains the four pictures and one poster with pictures on the back and the song lyrics on the back. It is a 1968 mono 1st pressing. It has the Apple label and with 'Sold in the uk' on the label.
The Matrix numbers are
Side 1----- xex 709-1
Side 2-----xex 710-1
Side 3------xex 711-1
Side 4-------xex 712-1
Catalogue Number- PMC 7068.
Overall condition.
The double album cover is in good condition with some creasing and a very little tear at the back. The front hasn't been ripped it is a slight mark where the white has come off. The item has aged to a cream colour. For an album this age i believe it is very neat. There are no pen marks or any other marks at all.
The photos.
The photos are in great condition as my dad didn't use them. The poster has no marks or writing on it but there is a tear in one of the fold lines. It is not a rip it is where it has been folded. other than that it is in very good condition.
The records.
The condition of the labels are excellent. There is some surface scratching on the record due to use but nothing major. I would say the records are in very good condition.
I have been as honest as possible with my description but if i have missed anything or you have any questions please feel free to ask. This to me is an all time great and a must to have in anyones collection.
