STILL SEALED! 1969 Original Pressing, First Record Album: THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND self-titled LP, ATCO CAPRICORN Records, SD 33-308 Stereo.
NOT a reissue, this is the genuine First U.S. Pressing with the Textured Gatefold Cover made of heavy cardboard.
In the early 1970s I was checking out the bargain bin in a New York City record store where I bought two copies of this album, one to open and play, the other I kept SEALED just for YOU, the winner of this very auction.
The store price sticker that set me back a whole $1.99 (plus tax) is still attached to the shrink wrap. There is a 1/4 inch cut out on the right edge. Finding Still SEALED albums from the 60s is quite a challenge, don’t let this one get away.
