Here is a SUPER RARE "promotional only" Lp album from my collection offered up for sale: A beautiful Elektra DJ radio station promotional album "Elektra's Best", was not available in stores! This cool was released during Jim Morrison's lifetime. Featuring 3 tracks by The Doors, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Tim Buckley, Arthur Lee & Love, The Holy Modal Rounders and others! Subtitled "Volume 1 1966 through 1968" this album is described as "an almost encyclopedia of our most requested selections" released in 1969 on Elektra Records EB-1 Stereo, and is in well cared for condition! The heavy weight records grade NEAR MINT, are super clean and super glossy, only a couple of small faint sleeve marks to pristine records, look rarely played! Records have been PLAY TESTED, and play with excellent sound quality, clear sound, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The 1969 red "Big E" labels are marked for DJ's and say "Not For Sale", have no signs of spindle wear! The gatefold cover rates EX, is clean, has deep black color with no ringwear, edges have minimal wear but have a couple partial center splits that have been neatly glued, no tape, no stains, no signatures or writing, no cut outs or drill holes, bottom opening corners have a bump, looks minimally handled! Includes the custom printed inner sleeves featuring photos of the Elektra studios, small center splits neatly taped (see all photos). Cool time capsule like album!NO RESERVE PRICE!! LOW opening bid!
