Under Gum Bubble Ground" 1969 (Shove Love st-9827). Following the footsteps of Frank Zappa’s Mothers -- The album cover, full of gags, opens this hard to find novelty album by these Florida hippie rockers who were shocking for their time! A garage edge-y sound, with a goofy bent and a closing free form freak-out instrumental ending in “Rushes”. The sides open with "Take Your Love and Shove It" and "Why Don't You Go Love Yourself," that gives you the idea where these co-ed Stoners are coming from: sex, dope, rock and roll, and Jim Morrison. Yes one song is about Jim Morrison, which is ironically the only serious song on the album. PRODUCED BY BRAD SHAPIRO & STEVE ALAIMO. Ssss, mmm, Take another HIT!!
