Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 first pressing of a Monstrous 1969 U.S. heavy fuzz rock released on the Map City label (Purple Image). The album features the vocal gymnastics of Dennis Croce and the awesome psychedelic acid guitar of Reggie Wright. Loaded with ripping amphetamine and LSD fuelled guitar work just the way we like it!
This 1969 underground classic LP from the Connecticut band "Yesterday's Children" is real lost gem. This was the only album they ever made, but oh what a stunning success it was musically, even though it wasn't recognized on a national level.
Reggie Wright played a significant role as the lead guitar player. His strengths were more than obvious in each song as he tore his way through each number relentlessly without clutter. The group was led by brothers Denis Croce (guitar) and Richard Croce (vocals). The rhythm section of Chuck Maher (bass) and Ralph Muscatelli (drums) were standup from start to finish, providing the pumping and thumping force that drove their musical machine. Side one is very good and side two is nothing less than remarkable. The four songs presented are solid and unfailing, featuring the powerful fat chords of Wright. The rest of the band easily falls into line with such resourceful leadership to complete the overall effects of each and every track. Notable as well is the colorful and detailed cover art. It reminded me of Gulliver's Travel's.
This is a fine album that flirts with progressive rock continually. For a one shot effort they certainly put it all together on this album. When you hear this you will be amazed at the sound quality and musicianship. It will make you wonder why they were a fly by night act that never continued beyond this album.

CONDITION: The COVER: Solid and collection worthy, rated: M- front cover, "EX" (excellent) back cover and has a big company issued PROMOTIONAL sticker at bottom left corner ....with no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... top sought rarity ...
The vinyl: still glossy after 46 years...thing is, there are numerous small fine shallow hair scuffs, therefore rated "VG" but, plays way better, heard just a bit of light ticks in few parts along the way over both sides, otherwise mostly plays with excellent fidelity ... both MAP CITY labels are clean
