Description

Excellent, guaranteed original, 1969 Psych LP by JOE BYRD AND THE FIELD HIPPIES entitled "The American Metaphysical Circus" on Columbia Records (#7317, Stereo). Psych monster follow up to BYRD'S previous band THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Released on Columbia Masterworks - this may be the only rock album to be released on a classical music label. Also one of the first rock albums to feature extensive use of synthesizers. A must for psychedelic music fans!  Condition: Cover = solid VG+ (light wear, no seam splits, small "cs" written in the upper right hand corner), Record = solid VG+ (very light paper scuffs - plays through fine though, small "cs" written on both sides of the labels).
