NOTES: This was the Carpenters' first LP, and it did not chart -- no matter how nice were Herb Alpert's liner notes on the album jacket. It was reissued two years later as Ticket To Ride after the success of "Close to You." The record appears perfect with only a couple superficial scuffs from the inner sleeve (also included), and the jacket is excellent also with no splits, writing or ringwear, just a couple light corner dinks. This one is very rare and hard to find in this condition. The jacket will be packed carefully with a poly sleeve for purposes of presentation and storage. A new paper sleeve will be provided for the record if the original sleeve is not present. The record and jacket will be shipped side by side within the mailing carton to prevent splitting in transit.
