VINTAGE 1970 GIL SCOTT-HERON RECORD A NEW BLACK POET
For your consideration is this vintage 1970 record featuring Small Talk at 125th and Lenox by A New Black Poet: Gil Scott-Heron. From the jacket: “He penetrates to the core, where, blurred by the ‘plastic patterns’ of a culture not his own, dulled by drugs, or held down by unremitting poverty, the Black’s rage smolders, ready to flare into riot.” This revolution will not be televised....
Condition notes: Good+. This 33 LP record shows some sleeve scuffs and what appears to be one small scratch per side. I have not listened to this record, so the rating is visual only – still, it looks in overall Good+ condition. Moderate surface and storage wear to jacket.
