Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE... Original (circa 1970) first pressing of cool late 60's rock from the band Chariot. "Yolanda Jones" and "Gamblin' Man" are just two of the solid stand out tracks throughout the album of great blues based tracks.
A guitar trio, Chariot’s lone musical offering with its stunning artwork, appeared on the obscure National General label (NG2003) in 1970. The label, which apparently was the musical arm of the National General Cinema corporation, was distributed by Buddah Records and only lasted long enough to issue a handful of records, vanishing quite soon.
Chariot, which evolved out of a '60s garage outfit called The Knack, (no relation to the crap 70s pop outfit) and are often described as a Cream-influenced blues/psych trio, although their sound also exhibits more than a hint of a classic flower power groove, with some decidedly progressive touches. Longish tracks stretch out the guitar trio's talent with formidable extended passages. Overall the album rates excellent but with poor label distribution coupled with being buried in the, flourishing at the time, underground rock movement, Chariot sank into obscurity. The band members as well seem to have disappeared without trace. Flash forward 45 years later, the LP is highly regarded & sought after in collector circles, though remaining very hard to find...
