white label promotionals have been sought and collected by record collectors for years as the pressings were limited and designed for *best sound* promotion by record labels sending their product to selected radio stations & media for review -- the white label issues were the first to be pressed off of the freshly cut masters - thus retaining the *best* sound quality.

In 1967 Richardson contributed lead guitar to Michael Condello's "Condello" LP. A couple of years later Condello apparently repaid the favor by producing 1969's cleverly-titled Warren S Richardson Jr. who was credited with penning all six tracks and material like 'Reputation'' and 'Shady Lady' that offered up a pretty good set of fuzz-propelled hard rock. Richardson has a voice that was well suited to the genre. Because it strays a little bit from the predominantly hard rock formula, the psych-tinged 'Wind and Rain' is perhaps the standout effort on the album, although all the tracks are solid with a great deal of electricity and style.

CONDITION: The cover is sound, solid seams, no bends, no writing, VG++ with only very little shelf wear and nothing much, so should not be a problem for appearance. Promotional stickers on top left and bottom right only enhyance the value.

The vinyl with white label promtional labels = clean and strong M- ..the entire album plays dynamic and loud!
