Description
Here is a personal favorite album from my collection offered up for sale: This is The Doobie Brothers' 1971 1st album "Doobie Brothers", this is a VERY HARD TO FIND 1st pressing with GREEN LABELS! Released 1971 by Warner Brothers Records WS 1919 Stereo. This record sold poorly when first released in 1971. Tom Johnston joked later that the album "went cardboard". This one has the original cover with better quality 1st generation images and matte paper back slick with excellent portraits, original 1970 printed inner sleeve. This is early guitar based Doobie Brothers music, fantastic harmonies "Nobody", "Growin A Little Each Day" and "Greenwood Creek".
The vinyl record rates VG+, is super glossy and clean, side two looks excellent~ has only a couple light marks, side one has a few more light marks but nothing heavy or feel-able. PLAY TESTED, plays with very good sound quality, bright clear sound with some light background pops, no skips or jumps and a very enjoyable listen!
The vintage cover rates VG+, is clean and bright, has light ring wear but all faces are excellent, seams have light color rubs/wear, corners have a couple small bumps/rubs, binder edge has a few small rub spots and is still partly readable, small split at top opening was neatly re-glued, no tape, inner sleeve has splits neatly taped, has been well cared for! (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. The vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits. Check my eBay store "Groove Vibrations Vintage Records" for more promotional pressing albums and other cool record gems! Buy more than one item from our list at one time and we will ship them together. Media rate may take up to nine days but is usually much faster.
