Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +21,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. - USA - NASCO Records - 9006 - sterephonic
- Unless is someone's lucky gold-strike, the 1971 LP by FELT has little ever been seen, trading hands for upwards $1000 (bet value increases over short time)
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
- FELT'S origins were from outskirts of Huntsville Alabama, just north of Birmingham, and prove great things come from small places...
- FELT were founded by twin guitarists Myke Jackson & Stan Lee, both gifted instrumentalists and for tuneful self-songwriting grooves with the unlikely ability of later sixties (serene flowing "Abby Road") BEATLES yet more main dominance in their often Duane Allman led early Allman Brothers grittier psyched blues-rock styles; a testament flashed-out solid over both sides - growing stronger by each listen. Listen below

- Psychedelia, progressive, underground blues-rock; whichever works for you. Felt is one-album band like many of the heralded gems from the late sixties, early 70s. Although we find every track great, the highlight may be “The Change” a jamming song 10 minutes long, at the top of the heap of all-timers. By the way, "The change" is actually 3 different tracks in one, all with a different vibe. Enough attempting to describe,
- LISTEN BELOW to FELT ... most vintage record collectors need this!
- FELT was formed in Alabama in the late '60s around the talents of Myke Jackson (guitars), Mike Neel (drums), Tommy Gilstrap (bass), Stan Lee (guitars), and Allan Dalrymple (keyboards). The band’s self-titled album, released on the small Nasco label in 1971 contains ALL original songs written for the most part by Jackson. The mostly psych-blues-styled songs on this album are full of great guitar work and contain fine Beatles-esque harmony vocals amid early (Duane) Allman Brothers expressive instrumentation. While most of this album has a blues feeling to it, some of the songs hint of progressive rock with swirling keyboards, intense drumming, AND oh those blistering guitar solos. The album was FINALLY discovered for its musical excellence and became a very rare collectors’ item.
