Highly sought after Original 1972 first pressing, an outstanding hardrock album...
This is actually the third Mama Lion LP, minus the female singer, Lynn Carey. Both of the HEAVY CRUISER albums were "reissued" in 1976 by the famous tax scam label, Tiger Lily, re-Morris Levy. The music is hard, rock, with a grungy vibe, and some Deep Purple influences going along with heavy rock moves. Original Merryweather jammers includes a cool take on the Kinks great "You Really Got Me" ... We find the rare Mama Lion a lot easier than either Heavy Cruiser album, especially Lucky Dog...the label must have produced a strict 'one run' nearly 40 years ago, hence the 'hard to find' tag most aptly applies...
