PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! [isdntekvideo] .RARE 1972 FIRST PRINT in laminated sleeve ... a great hard psych LP that should well appeal to many prog fans too ... the self composed tracks are filled with inventive interplay. Released only in Brazil 45 years ago, the album sounds like a lost USA treasure of first order.
The legend had it that Tobruk were formed by some North-American guys living in Brazil, but in actuality the Brazilian band took on American names and played/sung with an American sound. We rate the record pretty highly even so much as to refer to it as a wonderful album that was released in 1972 on the Cash Box label (sometimes you even see the album selling as if Cash Box was its title). The self composed material certainly has the 'right' sound with psychedelic leanings using only fuzz guitar, organ, some psychedelic effects and an eerie atmospheres. Completely sung in English so basically you get the same style of sound as the 'holy grail' rated "Churchills" and Mexican "Kaleidoscope" albums

CONDITION: The cover: A very worthy collection worthy "VG" very fragile & laminated, there is light handling crinkles around the edges while the main front & back panels are very decent (clean w/ light lamination wear but not to the white - see photo.) VERY collection worthy given rarity.
The vinyl: Rated: side two is "EX" (excellent) looks and plays clean ... side one is the same but has a couple of hairlines so grade VG (+) with most of side one predominately better and plays with excellent audio. Overall a solid copy with no upgrade needed audio wise. Both "Cashbox" labels are free from writing and no spindle marks
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
