Description
A quite incredible single sourced collection of vintage 30 years old upwards modern Jazz and desirable classical pressings, all in unplayed and mainly factory sealed condition, in fact mainly double sealed, with the factory seal overbagged in a larger sealed poly outer. This whole collection has been in cool dry upright ideal storage for all its life until a few weeks ago, when I got first offer on them. An opportunity to bid on such a high quality never opened collection is a rare chance. Bid now to ensure more are offered. I could quite happily keep plenty of these!.
David Axelrod produced Early US Gatefold Capitol with orange labels: The Black Messiah, a live double album by jazz saxophonist Cannonball Adderley, recorded at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, California in 1970 featuring performances by Adderley's Quintet with Nat Adderley, George Duke, Walter Booker and Roy McCurdy with guest appearances by Airto Moreira, Mike Deasy, Ernie Watts, Alvin Batiste, and Buck Clarke.
Richard S. Ginell awarded the album 4 stars and states "Still immersed in the burgeoning electronic jazz-rock explosion of the times, Cannonball Adderley goes further toward a rapprochement with the rock and soul audiences than ever before on this fascinating, overlooked double album".
Near Mint records (one light surface mark is not a scratch, does not sound) and sleeve. heard throughout, plays near mint, and is a cracker.
