SCARCE 1973 Original first pressing vinyl, released in QUADRAPHONIC...from the famous KRAUTROCK scene, comes thee outstanding second album by DZYAN, an otherworldly performed EXOTIC progressive/psych adventure in guitar trio format, the bassist uses his creation called the 'super string' which he injects throughout the tracks to great affect ...certainly this is not your standard guitar trio fare.

"Kabisrain", the first song is obligated to give a good impression of the album, one that will keep you listening to the album, and very challenging -- it has a magnificent acoustic guitar runs throughout the 'music,' not chords, meaning it does not have a normal "rhythm" structure as in a memorable tune but rather sounds like an improvisation. Then suddenly you will hear keyboards making soft and strange soundscapes, meanwhile the awesome guitar is being torn by finger work. Wow....

"Magika" starts a bit faster, with bass, guitars and drums making the same rhythm at the same time, it sounds more practised at the beginning, but during the song, the instruments are loose in their own way, you will hear mighty guitar coming out of one side of the speaker and percussions from the other side... and if you are a musician, you will smile when you listen to this. It has highs with an overall nice sound.

"Light Shining Out of Darkness" is the shortest of them all, here again that spanish guitar returns to create webs of imageries, like John Mclaughlin making his guitar seem like it's shooting at the listener. 

"Time Machine" the whole of side two is possibly the best song on the album . It starts with a soft drum sound, giving us a clear prog/jazz sound, then guitar and bass enters to the song again like a jazz trio, this is creates a listening effect to mind tripping, and the listeners  senses kneel down to the sound -- the progressive rock/jazz complexities give you a real reason of why this kind of music is so appreciated and beautiful, a workout song that you might enjoy a lot, not boring in any part, with a touch of sitar, and after a slow tempo, it changes to a "very busy" sound, full of moments where you can't stop moving your head or your feet -- it`s a great jam, it show us clearly the quality of these musicians.

CONDITION: The Cover: the fragile laminated cover is VG++ with only a little bit of wear just a small spot here or there and vastly excellent ...strong colors and no split seams, or writing or problems that would keep anyone away ... collection ready!
