RARE original 1973 first pressing = unopened, unplayed and perfect...(see details below) ...One of the greatest bands in the Italian progressive field, Osanna came from Naples, Italy and formed in 1971 by the members of I Volti di Pietra and Città Frontale whose keyboard player Gianni Leone went to Balletto di Bronzo. This underground film soundtrack was actually recorded as their second album. Most of the album contains prime Osanna, great guitar-led heavy progressive, melodic acoustic parts with beautiful mellotron or flute, etc. In addition they experiment with the use of orchestration in their music. Often they sound as a mix of hardrock & classical music. Milano Calibro 9 contains all the elements that would be presented in perfection on Palepoli, and overall a great album which contains some of Osanna's best music, again led by heavy crunchy guitar injections.
