*** Killer Caribbean-Afrobeat Island Psych-Roots Funk ***

Original and rare 1974 Guyana pressing.
A musically hard to categorize but great record. It's a terrific often hypnotic mix of Afrobeat, Nyabinghi, Caribbean, Funk, Jazz and many other influences. Some great dancers on here (also check the last track "starting at 32:10 min mark" - it almost sounds like Jonathan Richman  heard this when he made Egyptian Reggae)      artist:  The Yoruba Singers                                  title: ? Ojinga's Own country:  Guyana label:  Bluegrass - DCS 260SL year: 1974
condition:  (grading is from 1 to 10 with 10 being new) vinyl visually: 6 to 7 out of 10 (light superficial scratches and scuffs - but not bad at all, still a neat copy)  vinyl plays: 7 out of 10 (nice strong player, a couple of light pops and some light crackle) sleeve: 7 out of 10 (still a nice sleeve with some light wear, two hardly noticeable removed stickers)
