We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This Lp marks the crowning achievement of the MAN band, the underground prog/psych/hard rock crew that were one of the 'head' bands within the London underground 'heads' rock scene of the early 70's. These cats often toured with the illustrious space-rock extravaganza HAWKWIND and other delightful similarity bands (Pink Fairies, Edgar Broughton Band, Magic Michael ((= Who?)), well, the unknown to known from yester-
years psychotic space travelers) ...

The MAN band somehow captured ( if only briefly) the QUICKSILVER legendary guitar icon John Cippolina, famous for liquid-reverb string bending technique displayed on early Messenger Service albums.

"MAXIMUM DARKNESS" has no less than three lead guitarists in glorious unification with revolving psycho-paisley-soloing ... Quicksilver's Cippolina featuring his unique growling quivery-guitar theatrics; there's never been a guitarist before or since who played so jaw-dropping trippy...
For a start, the sound quality is amazing. It's crystal clear and all instruments balance out well in the mix. The songs are superbly performed, most of them extended beyond the original studio versions. They did extended versions of their studio stuff and managed to make them interesting. The band's enthusiastic vocals are always fun, and the band is very inspired being thrilled to having brought John Cippolina into their band. There is certainly a West Coast psychedelia feel to these long jams. The reason it works is the guitar players have enough interesting ideas to keep you grooving. Overall definitely an album fans of long solos will enjoy! For instance "Many Are Called, But Few Get Up" being just a monster of a jam. Elsewhere, "7171-551" is another highlight, with Man guitarist/vocalist Deke Leonard's use of wah-wah pedal - just amazing inspired work here. Very enjoyable album from the start to finish delivering a powerful impact.
