Description
1975 US Blue Note BST 84038 Jackie McLean Capuchin Swing Low Plays True Analog scarce and expensive issue. VG+ only condition for the 2 copies on discogs, which are £63.70 and £97.98. This is near mint vinyl in an excellent sleeve, with just a clean small import corner clip letting it down. Super clean whiteness to rear as you can see, and also the labels as shown in high definition in the pics have barely a spindle mark to them. Bought by me many decades ago and stored carefully since then. There is a quirk to these, they say they are electronic stereo to the back corner (a carried over standard text used for the 1500 series), but in fact the stereo is real. I can hear Jackie in the one channel and Blue Mitchel in the other, and by the 60s date this was recorded, Rudy was making mono issues from fold downs of the stereo. I clearly understand what fake stereo entails and can tell you this has no junk in either channel!. Great music from this classic hard bop date with tunes written by the band for the occasion. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
