Up for grabs is a RARE and HTF 1st edition Stereo recording by Jaco Pastorius on Epic Records.

- 1976 "Jaco Pastorius"
   + Stereo recording
   + Original black labels with silver print
   + Light/flex weight vinyl pressing
   + various musicians on the tracks, but many tracks include Herbie Hancock on piano, keyboard and organ
   + David Sanborn also plays saxophone on one track

This LP is pressed on light/flex weight vinyl and has its original cover and sleeve.

VINYL:
Side 1:  VG+ - one or two (if any) very light visible needle marks/scuffs, needs very light cleaning
Side 2:  VG+ - one or two very light to light visible needle marks/scuffs, needs very light cleaning
- this vinyl has a one or two very light visible needle marks/scuffs.  Sound quality will not be diminished. This LP was not play tested.  Visual grades are subjective.

COVER: VG/VG+
- Light to medium thick card stock cover still retains alot of its original HIGH glossy finish on the front and back, very light surface wear, very light ring wear
- Front cover has very light handling/shelf stress creases along all edges, very light surface wear and scratches from shelf/storage/handling
- No seam splits are present on edges
- Bottom and top edges have very light to light shelf/storage/handling wear and indention marks - more along bottom edge, very light to light glue separation to top edge at center region
- Corners are still sharp and square, but have very light to light bends/dings with light shelf/storage/handling wear, light rounding to bottom-opening and bottom-spine corners
- No visible crackling to edges from shelf/storage/handling
- Opening edges have light shelf/storage/handling wear and indention marks
- Spine is still straight, crisp print, very light stress marks, no visible print fade to title print, very light to print wear from shelf/storage/handling
- Back cover has very light spine stress bends/creases, with very light visible ring wear, very light scratches from storage/shelf/handling, very light surface wear along opening edge from shelf/storage/handling
- Back cover has crisp, sharp print with no visible print fade
- B&W background is still sharp with very light handling residue, high gloss

SLEEVE: If present, is used only for transport and will not be graded or visually described, unless entire edition (album vinyl, cover, and sleeve) is VG+ or better.

- Light bends/creases/folds from shelf/storage/handling
- No seam splits are present
- Sharp "rounded" mfr corners with sharp edges, very light to light indention marks to opening and bottom edges from shelf/storage/handling

Overall, this copy is 40+ years old and is in a VG+ condition and is suitable for any collection. This LP has not been played. Visual grades are subjective.

I will combine shipping if winning multiple lots or auctions. Please refer to non-album/LP auctions for combine shipping charges for those other auctions, because they will differ.

All LP grades assigned are subjective and may differ from another person's viewpoint. I am not a professional grader, but I have collected records and albums for over 35 years. When LPs or records are play tested, they are disc-brush cleaned and then played on a 1980s Pioneer direct-drive turntable using Stanton or AudioTechnica needles.

Combined Shipping costs for LP auctions:- Will be recalculated to include a new shipping charge. Additional costs will be applied after the shipping cost of the heaviest weighted auction that was won (i.e. a 2-LP record lot is heavier than a single LP lot.)- I will combine auction shipment costs for up to four (4) LPs (4 single LPs, 2 double LPs, or a combination of both types, not to exceed four LPs in the album mailer). I do this, so they will ship securely in a record mailer and without possible damage during shipment. An additional amount of $.50 per LP will be added after the initial charge. - I use a prefabricated 12" record mailer for all LP shipments and will only add insurance upon request.
