Description

Jaco Pastorius' eponymous debut album is an absolute must-have for ANY vinyl or jazz enthusiast.  If you're reading, this you know.

I was given this album in 1980 by a high school friend (who, unfortunately, went on to kill his stepmother and is still in prison for it) who turned me on to some great music.  That's the back story on my acquisition of it.  The rest of the story is that I haven't had a turntable in 30 years - which is the last time this album would have been played.

The runout bears the "T-1" etching from the Terre Haute pressing.  The media shows very few, very fine marks.  The sleeve shows storage wear (see photos for all).  I am not a vinyl dealer, and I try to rate or describe any item I sell very conservatively.  If you win this auction and for some reason feel the item was not as described, don't write me to complain that I don't know how to grade vinyl, or I was dishonest, or this or that.  Just.........SEND IT BACK (the same album in the same condition - the runout stamping/etching is recorded by me to guard against the scammers that now infest eBay).
NOTE:  I DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO SOUND TEST THIS ALBUM, NOR HAS IT BEEN TESTED.  However, the photos of the album should speak a fair amount to its condition.  It's in very good shape.
