1976 Tom Waits WLP promo Lp NM! Small Change NUDE ARTIST: Tom Waits

NOTES: I scored a large lot of excellent seventies rock records last week, many of them white label promotional pieces that were pressed in very low numbers. From that collection comes this rare white label promotional pressing that plays great with no signs of wear or use on either of the disc's highly glossy surfaces -- this is actually the closest to mint that I've ever seen this album. Suddenly a fairly common rock LP becomes a rarity with perhaps fewer than a hundred pressed! The jacket is excellent also, with no writing, split seams, or tape (and no barcode on the back cover) but with a promo sticker at the upper right-front corner -- check out the racy cover photo! Comes with the original printed lyric sleeve. Since WLP's were specially made for radio stations, they were practically all pressed on the best virgin vinyl from the earliest stampers and generally have a much better, if not entirely different, sound quality than the commercially available stock copies.
This 28 year-old gem will be prepared for safe shipment in the following manner: it will come with a new poly sleeve for long-lasting archival protection, and a paper sleeve for the record. Both the jacket and record in its inner sleeve will be placed side by side into the poly sleeve to prevent seam splits during shipment. The album will then be sandwiched between two sheets of heavy duty cardboard and secured within a sturdy record mailer.
