Description
Over the next few weeks I will be listing lots of Prog/Psych/Folk/classic rock albums from the late sixties-early seventies, these are all from the same source, some rarities, some more mundane, but nearly all of them have been kept in EX to Nr. Mint condition.
The last of my three rare Progressive /Folk /Psych albums at auction this evening is the self -titled ENGLAND LP on the ultra – rare DEROY label No. DER 1356.
Only 99 copies were produced of this private pressing rarity, this one being found not 200 yards from where recording studio was based, in Carnforth North Lancashire and as can be seen from my address the area I was born in and still live.
The Record is housed in a front laminated cover
London were Ben Eggleston (Bass / Vocals) Olly Alcock (Guitar /Lead Vocals) & Phil Cook (Drums)
Apparently they used to gig in the Cumbria & North East of England areas
Tracks; The Osprey – Keswick Line – Out Of Town – Beauty & The Beast – Paradise Lost –How Does It Feel – Nature Ruled – The Fleece – Life And Soul.
Record, I doubt whether you could improve on it for a used item, no marks what so ever, a deep sheen and not a trace of spindle marks, looks hardly played.
Cover fully intact, light handling marks on back still excellent, a truly outstanding collectable album, you will not improve on it.
