1977--"CHARLIE PARKER"--6 LPs BOX SET NUMBERED (3125/4000) LIMITED EDITION OF COMPLETE DIAL RECORDINGS IN THE '40S--PLUS UNIQUE SPECIAL BOOK OF GREAT OLD PHOTOS OF CHARLIE, HIS BAND, JAZZ ERA OF THE '40S AND LINER NOTES--WARNER BROS. RECORDS...Here's a remarkable and very rare 48 year old "Charlie Parker" 6 LPs box set, numbered (3125/4000--note at bottom left edge of box) limited edition of all of Charlie Parker's recordings for the Dial label in the 1940s...Warner Bros. released a 2 LP set in 1977 of some of his Dial recordings and also released this limited edition of 4000 box set LPs world wide for all the Dial recordings...this was #3125 out of 4000...PLUS--also included is a very interesting special 16 page book of photos of Charlie, his band, the 40s jazz era plus a history of this incredibly interesting jazz era....The 6 LPs, sleeves, book and outer box are all in overall near mint condition...I acquired this from a professional musician and collector who was extremely caring and careful of all his records...buyer pays s/h of $9.95 (US)...Please check out my other auctions for more vintage music, movie and other interesting collectibles...
