Description

I am selling my vintage and sealed vintage LP's....mostly punk and new wave-all will ship in BRAND NEW LP Mailers with inserts via Priority Mail for less handling and faster shipping.
1978 Richard Hell Voidoids Blank Generation Sire WEA SR6037 SEALED UK LP Original First Press. Original 1978 issue.  No cuts or holes-some minor corner wear but still grades as EXC Plus.  Very Clean example. See pictures. Sire ended their distribution deal with Phonogram in the UK and switched to WEA after the similar change took place in USA when Warners took over for ABC for US distribution around 1977. They immediately rereleased all the early classics with "SR" or "SRK" prefixes. Ramones, Dead Boys Talking Heads etc were all issued by WEA Sire. I know that sounds confusing but after many years of collecting the Sire label I was able to confirm this via ownership of several records from both UK Phonogram distributed Sire and UK WEA distributed Sire.
I personally have owned both and think the WEA issues are superior presses on nicer vinyl than the Phonogram product IMHO-the Phonogram product is no slouch either-it's top quality as well. They are both Excellent pressings. This will ship USPS Priority shipping for faster and safer shipping in LP mailers-I will make sure it gets there as ordered. See my other listings for more late 70's and early 80's sealed punk and new wave! Free shipping on BIN-will refund via pp- and accepted offers will pay 10.00 for USPS priority. thanks
