Description
Up for auction here is a Rare Original Seventies Punk LP entitled "CYCLEDELIC" by Johnny Moped. Copyright 1978 by Chiswick Records, # WIK 8 an early print from small British label. Great '70's Snot Punk. Very early in the punk rock genre to see examples of music this good, even in England.
Track listing includes : "Maniac"; "V.D. Boiler" ; "Panic Button"; "Little Queenie"; "Groovy Ruby"; "3D Time"; "Wee Wee"; "Make Trouble"; "Wild Breed"; "Incendiary Device", & "Hell Razor", among others. Speed is 33 rpm.
Vinyl Condition is VG+ to NM / Near Mint, with hardly any defects to mention : The vinyl looks lovely ~ No scratches or skips or cracks. There are a few small spots of dirt or general surface smudging, & there's an occasional pop or hiss & background noise ~ This said, the vinyl still looks & sounds almost like new.
The jacket is VG- with slight dulling of the corners & lightly roughed edges but cover is high-gloss & clean without staining. The only true defect is that the jacket is split at the seams (but not torn) - both upper & lower edges have simply become unattached where they were glued - if the jacket were carefully re-glued there would be no damage (the folded interior jacket edges are intact, so glueing should be simple & work well). The album comes with its' original inner picture sleeve (see pix), weird nazi imagery & a degrees of separation-style bandmate listing cross-referencing other influential early punk bands that Johnny Mopeds bandmembers were also in, including the Damned, Genetic Breakdown, The Cowards, The Unusuals, Cruella Da Ville, & Tor, among others....
