Description

Up for sale is a complete, vintage 1979 US pressing of Pink Floyd's masterpiece double album, The Wall, released on Columbia Records (PC2 36183). This iconic prog-rock release comes complete with the original gatefold jacket, both original handwritten-style lyric inner sleeves, and both vinyl records. An essential centerpiece addition for any serious classic rock vinyl collection! 💿 CONDITION & GRADING BREAKDOWN:
Please note: Records are visually graded under strong direct light.

  • Vinyl Records (Discs 1 & 2): VG (Very Good) to VG+
The vinyl retains a nice, glossy black luster. There are a few light, cosmetic surface paper scuffs and minor hairlines visible under direct light from being pulled from the paper sleeves over the years. No deep, feelable scratches that should cause skips.
  • Gatefold Cover / Jacket: VG (Very Good)
The iconic brick-pattern gatefold jacket is structurally sound but shows typical vintage shelf wear. There is minor ring wear/shadowing visible on the front and back white brick surfaces, along with some edge softening. Notably, there is a small split/crush spot along the top edge of the gatefold seam (clearly documented in the close-up photos).
  • Inner Sleeves: VG+
Both original lyric-printed inner sleeves are included. They show light vintage yellowing/foxing around the borders but remain crisp with clean text and minimal seam splitting.
Please review all high-resolution listing photographs carefully to assess the exact cosmetic condition of the jacket, sleeves, and center labels. Sold as-is.
