Up for your consideration is a original 1982 Motley Crue, Too Fast For Love LP on Elektra Records. The back of the album was signed in October, 1982 by all four members in ball point pen.
The overall condition of this LP is really nice. There is no foreign staining anywhere. The lyric sheet is in EXCELLENT condition. The inner sleeve is really clean also with no staining but does have some minor splitting at the edges.
BONUS: Also included are two flyers from the show that the autographs were obtained in Modesto California (where I use to live) back in October of 1982.

What in the heck was Tommy thinking?
What we have here is Motley Crues first album signed in 1982 at a time when their future as a band was unknown. Sure, you can find Motley Crue signatures all day long on different types of "NEW" memorabilia......heck, all four of them are amazingly still alive signing stuff today. But what this piece offers that most other signed Motley Crue memorabilia does not, is a definable moment in history from a young band in October of 1982 from Los Angeles California that was loud and snotty with big dreams, big hair, and a big appetite for Metal.
At this very moment in 1982 when this LP was signed by all four members, the Crue was newly signed to Elektra touring through California just a couple of months away from getting a taste of the big leagues when they got invited to tour with KISS on their "Creatures Of The Night Tour". The Crues radio hits did not even start until 1983 when "Shout At The Devil" was released. Late 1982 was a major turning point in the bands career. This LP was signed before Motley Crue became international rock stars.
As you can see, these four young boys were in the infancy of their careers when this LP was actually signed. Not knowing yet, but ready to try and prove to the world in what would become one of the most successful metal bands of the 80's and 90's.
Each one of them scribbled a bit of their own personality / humor before signing their names.
All four signatures are very clean and unique. This is definitely a superb and unique signed LP from one of the greatest metal bands of all time.
The condition of the vinyl is a strong VG+ / EX- there are a few very light non feeler hairlines and one small ultra light scuff area. The vinyl has excellent gloss. This is a really nice pressing and I think most people would grade the vinyl EX. But, the uniqueness and value is all in the signed cover. The cover is in EX condition with no staining.
There is a light crease on the front bottom right (see last pic). There is also some very light indentations on the front...but nothing major or really noticeable that detracts from the artwork. But once again.....its all about the signatures on the back and the uniqueness of the subject matter of the signatures. I consider a clean vinyl, inner sleeve, lyric sheet, and show flyers in this situation only a bonus.
The back side of the cover with the signatures has very little wear and is EXTREMELY CLEAN WITH NO FOREIGN STAINING and will display superbly.
Out of most all of the Motley Crue autographs currently being offered online, this is one of the most unique by far.
