This is a killer find that has been seldom ever seen in person by most collectors or fans of the bands that made up the 1983 US Festival. There are different 18 LP's along with the paper work/cue sheets showing what was on the records. THIS WAS A RADIO PROMO ISSUE! There are 18 LP's but in the main picture above 1 of them was under the others so only 17 appear but there are 18LP's as issued.

The vinyl needs to be cleaned. They were each dusted off a little to see how each one looked. Segment 1 had the most wear and would be like G good condition as there are marks, segment 10, 19, 22, 24 & 35 do have some marks but would say they are VG-VG+ and some people may even grade these EX. The other 30 segments appear to maybe have been played a time or 2 but really looked decent overall just dirty from sitting & improper storage and would be excellant or better as it is possible some of them were never played since they look so nice. The labels look good on them too. The biggest thing was the dust on these. I know people can clean vinyl real good so will leave it up to the next owner to clean them. These are 12" LP's and again there are 18 in this set that was a RADIO PROMO issue by Westwood One. Most people know who this company is as their vinyl is tough to find and highly collectible. This particular 18 LP set does not have the complete concert so some bands / performers are not included nor are any of the bands complete sets are on the LP's so it is nice assortment of what happened at the festival. It is one of my favorites though since i grew up in that era. The box it is in does show wear but has the original label from WO and the post office postage strip showing the shipping date in 1984. The box is getting soft and the one area where the brown tape is on the side feels wet from being so old but is not wet as this had been in storage for over 30 years now.
