The Rolling Stones - On Her Majesty's Secret Service
ORIGINAL UK 1ST MONO PRESSING from 1967 on Decca Records.
An underrated gem.
One of the band's rarer albums, this record wasn't well-liked at the time. Even the band themselves disliked it, calling it a rip-off of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
This first pressing is rare nowadays, and the medium price on Discogs is £70. So consider this a bargain.
Features classics such as "She's A Rainbow", "2000 Light Years From Home" and "In Another Land."
Get this one while you can....
CONDITION
The record is in Fair condtion. Some may say poor.
It's littered with marks and scratches, and most probably will play with plenty of crackles, pops and skips.
I didn't test it though. So it is a filler copy.
The sleeve is in VG+ condition.
One seam split at the top. But the lenticular image is still intact, and it also has a nice spine, although there is damage to the top left hand corner as pictured.
No custom inner unfortunately.
