Description
Look out for the ebay offer on this! Note we always have quality 1st press jazz in our ebay store. 1st Issue HORACE SILVER Doin' The Thing At The Village Gate 1966 MONO US Blue Note . I am really fond of this lp, but just found whilst organising some lps that i had 2 copies of this, the one I am keeping is the later pressed version, so I am cashing in on the first pressing. RVG and the plastylite P in the run out grooves, 43 West 61st sleeve address, as shown. Numerous fine marks to this, but nothing making it skip, not warped or off centre, no pen on labels or sleeve, no splits to sleeve (sleeve corner surface is scratched, shown in a separate pic. Plays very well with my Ortofon Mono cart. Still, please bear in mind VG is not Near mint or Excellent or VG+. Wishful thinking will not make it leap up a grade, and a colleague has an excellent on here for £238. If you take the gamble on a US one from someone with less than stellar feedback (as those on offer are), you will be whacked for duties on import these days, even from Europe - it is the worst I've ever known it and there's no low declaring any more. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
