This is the very first pressing rare mono U.S. 3 lp box set deep groove, thick heavy vinyl, with maroon and silver RCA VICTOR red seal labels #LM-6105, 5s/1s - 1s/1s - 2s/5s. It features the BACH SONATAS AND PARTITAS for UNACCOMPANIED VIOLIN. performed by JASCHA HEIFETZ. (complete). These early heavy, deep groove originals are very sought after by audiophiles, it comes with a booklet and pamphlet. The booklet has many pages and is in the best condition, box has light wear, and the 2 right corners split, the spine is strong and perfect, gold print is very good, front graphics and art are nice and there are NO bent corners, writing, stickers, etc. All 3 lps have brilliant maroon labels with strong silver print. some of the print looks brighter in the pictures that is because of the flash angle in person they all match. There are No spindle marks, stains, stickers, etc. I noticed only one or two faint spindle trails. Playing surfaces have a very deep glossy mirror like shine, NO groove wear, scratches, defects, or warps. Only under very close inspection could I see just a few light surface scuffs here and there that do not affect play. I played an excerpt from all 6 sides, they sounded crystal clear with NO distortion or annoying background noise. Glad I could make available such a rare mono sought after box set in this wonderful CONDITION: BOX VG++ / LPS NM - - to NM / BOOKLET NM - .
