Given an Ultrasonic bath and then listened to-ALL THE WAY THROUGH.

Well folks here's a Very 1st UK Pressing Let It Be Boxset...

This was the Beatles' 13th and final official album release. Released on the 8th of May 1970, it reached the number 1 slot just over two weeks later and stayed there for 3 weeks. It was also, sadly, to prompt the Beatles' last live performance: on top of the Apple Building in London on the 30th of January 1969.

An interesting little bit about this album is the cover was originally intended to be the cover which was used for the Beatles' compilation in 1973 for their 'Red' and 'Blue' album.

Even though recording for the album was finished by the end of May '69, it wasn't until March 1970, when Phil Spector was brought in, when it finally got released.

So, here follows the details of this one for sale:

Ultrasonically cleaned

The vinyl has just light marks to her, but many of them-HOWEVER-Nothing feelable at all.

Certainly not jumps or skips!

After giving her a gentle professional ultrasonic clean, I popped her on my Focus One deck and listened to her all the way through...

On loud playback I noticed just some very faint and VERY occasional light and soft pops/bit of crackle but these were few and far between, but nothing offensive at all.

The audio was perfectly clear and rich throughout.

I did notice a slight bell warp when playing side 1, but this had NO effect on playback and was not visible when playing side 2.

LET IT BE shone out in all it's glory, albeit with a few soft and light background pops-as you can hear in the recording included in this listing; nothing offensive at all-Turn her up-I did :)

Certainly no jumps or sticks.

Original DARK GREEN 1st pressing labels. Lovely and clean to BOTH sides.

Barely any central hole wear to mention...only some very light spindle marks, visible when angled to the light-really absolutley nothing to worry about at all.

NO WRITING

Shines out bright, with the deep green Apple.

VERY DISPLAYABLE

Record Sleeve:

RED APPLE

It retains the glossy sheen to both the front and back laminate. There are a few lines of spidering near the opening-but these are only to the front cover and not the back-also only really visible when angled towards the light.

The corners have some rubbing, with the top right and bottom left corner having a small 2cm split.

The spine is still legible, with minor rubbing. Remains fantastically strong.

The Apple to the back is a RED APPLE-showing it to be the very first pressing.

Not often at all you get to see these up for sale!

Die-cut plain white inner. No writing...

It is a wonderful ORIGINAL example with "PATENT NO. 1,125,555" to the bottom left corner of one side.

As well as "MADE IN ENGLAND"

Just light discolouration and some very light creasing.

Outer Cover:

*KEPT HER SHAPE WHEN THE INSIDES ARE TAKEN OUT-NO COLLAPSE-NOW THAT IS RARE*

To the front, the pictures are lovely and clear-with a gorgeous sheen to the fully laminated outer cover. The corners are solid too, with just a small degree of very light rubbing....NO SPLITS ANYWHERE....I am being very honest, open and critical here.

There are just a few small lines of spidering to the front and back.

Remains a TOP example!

Inner Tray:

It is all original and has the rounded corners. There is some rubbing to the edges, as well as a couple of small splits but only to one side to the top and bottom of the fold.

Really has survived rather well.

Brilliantly shiny cover . It does have a small crease to the bottom right corner and one smaller one to the top right corners to the front.

Gloriously glossy pictures with all their original color.
