Here we are Jazz and Ray Charles fans...A pure blast from the past with this very 1st pressing of Ray Charles on the London Atlantic label.
I have given the record a gentle vacuum clean and then popped her on my deck and listened to sections: Superb! The audio remains clear, but due to many marks on the vinyl, there is a little bit of light background crackle-I did not find it offensive. The record remains as flat today as it was, when born in '62.
Labels are great and could be framed.
The sleeve is in VG condition and free from splits-there is a small tear to the back at the opening, but this is no more than 3cm and is not detremental to the integrity of the sleeve. NO WRITING. Very frameable too.
The inner is an early DECCA starred inner with the 'Foreign Patents Pending' text. It does have one side that is taped and general wear.
It is quite a rare album to find on this label, so grab it whilst you can-to frame or to play.
