Small Faces
Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake
1st press MONO
1M / 2T
(Professionally cleaned with Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner)
Here is an incredibly early pressing of the Small Faces LP. In MONO too!
Catalogue Number: IMLP 012
Matrix endings:
Side 1: 1L
Side 2: 2L
Mothers/Stampers: 1M /2T
Incredibly early pressing here on the white/light blue IMMEDIATE label.
The Vinyl: 139g
There are many light marks to the vinyl. I have just played her all the way through and am happy to report there weren't any jumps just a couple of tiny, tiny skips-which I think will play over with a heavier stylus than mine...I am using a Focus One deck with SMK arm and Audio Technica stylus fitted.
There was some background noise evident-but this has been reduced with the Vacuum Clean.
Sits flat on the record deck.
A very good filler at the very least.
The Labels: VG-.
Free from writing, rips or tears.
here are numerous light spindle marks evident.
It is the more unusual white MONO label.
"FOR AMAZING RESULTS THIS RECORD SHOULD BE PLAYED AT FULL VOLUME"
at the top of the side 2 label!
VERY DISPLAYABLE.
The Cover: Poor.
It is the ORIGINAL 1st Pressing cover but has sufferd significant damage over the years.
It comes in 2.2 parts!
PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES FOR YOURSELVES.
It would still display well with the psychadelic side and the 1 lb Box side.
But yes-a filler.
SO FOLKS-THIS IS AN ALL ORIGINAL MONO LP WITH THE ORIGINAL COVER FROM 1968.
STILL SOUNDS GOOD AND WOULD DISPLAY WELL.
A FILLER FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR.
